Dub Fi Dub

Dub fi dub describes a clash format where sounds trade instrumental dub versions rather than (or in addition to) vocal cuts — testing who has the deeper catalogue of mixes, specials, and exclusive versions.

Why it matters: This format privileges dub collectors and selectors with studio relationships. It keeps versioning and remix culture visible in public competition, not only on studio albums.
