Ragga
Sample-heavy, faster dancehall — raggamuffin style goes international.
Ragga (raggamuffin) describes the faster, often sample-driven dancehall that follows early digital production. Deejays and singers trade rapid-fire bars on hard digital riddims; the style fuels crossover hits in the 1990s.
Note: Ragga overlaps with the digital riddim era; dates vary by source.
