Keznamdi has won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album. BLXXD & FYAH, his 13-track second album, took the category at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, the Gleaner and Observer report.

It was an all-Jamaican shortlist. The other nominees, per the Recording Academy, were Vybz Kartel’s Heart & Soul, Lila Iké’s Treasure Self Love, Mortimer’s From Within and Jesse Royal’s No Place Like Home. Keznamdi, Lila Iké and Mortimer were first-time nominees; Kartel — the only dancehall artist in the field — and Jesse Royal were on their second nomination, according to the Observer. Last year’s award went to Bob Marley: One Love — Music Inspired by the Film.
The record
BLXXD & FYAH was released on August 22, 2025 through Keznamdi Music Group, the singer’s own label. It follows his 2020 debut Bloodline. Keznamdi largely produced the album himself, with select tracks co-produced by VAS Productions, Major Seven and keyboardist Llamar “Riff Raff” Brown, Reggaeville’s review notes. His sister Kelissa opens the record on “I Am”; Masicka joins on “Forever Grateful,” and Mavado and Marlon Asher on the roots version of “Bun Di Ganja.” “Pomps and Pride” revisits Toots Hibbert. The Gleaner singles out “Serious Times” and “Pressure” as standouts.
The Observer describes the set as rooted in “struggle, resilience, and transformation, blending roots reggae with modern influences.” It is the second time in four years that the category has gone to a Kingston artist from the roots revival generation, after Kabaka Pyramid’s The Kalling in 2023.
