Shaggy has released “Lottery 4.0,” the official remix of “Lottery,” with Jeremih, Rick Ross and Skillibeng. It came out on Friday, September 18, 2026, through Ranch Entertainment and VP Records, the Jamaica Observer reports. The official audio is up on Shaggy’s own YouTube channel.
The remix is in the JamaicansMusic library, sourced from that channel: press Play above, open the “Lottery 4.0” release page, or jump to the player below.
From title track to four-voice remix
The original “Lottery,” featuring Jeremih, is the title track of Shaggy’s 13-track album Lottery, released on May 15, 2026, per the Observer. The paper describes the project as “rooted in the philosophy of betting on yourself, trusting your instincts, and embracing creative risks.”
The remix keeps the Shaggy–Jeremih chemistry and widens the table. Rick Ross brings the hip hop verse. Skillibeng brings current Jamaican dancehall. Shaggy sits in the middle and ties the lanes together.
“Lottery has always been about taking a chance and believing in your own hand,” Shaggy told the Observer. “Jeremih brought a smooth energy to the original, and bringing Rick Ross and Skillibeng onto the remix takes it to another level. Everybody comes from a different lane, but the chemistry works.”
The crossover habit
None of this is new ground for Shaggy. The two-time Grammy winner — Best Reggae Album for Boombastic in 1996 and for 44/876 with Sting in 2019 — has spent his career pairing reggae and dancehall with pop, R&B, hip hop and electronic music. The Observer runs the list: Akon, Robin Thicke and Jason Derulo on the R&B and pop side; Bob Sinclar and Clean Bandit in electronic music; Mohombi, Faydee, Costi and Nicky Jam across European and Latin markets.
“Lottery 4.0” adds two more names to that catalogue, and puts one of dancehall’s current leading voices on the same record as a hip hop heavyweight. That is the point of a Shaggy remix.
