Masicka headlined a sold-out Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, August 15, 2026 — his first time topping the bill at the arena and, per Kaboom, his first solo arena concert anywhere. The show, listed as Reggae Fest Presents Masicka and part of promoter CJ Milan’s Reggae Fest series, started at 8 p.m., DancehallMag reports. Barclays Center holds more than 18,000.
It came one day after the release of his third studio album, Forever Reign. “To then celebrate that release by performing at Barclays Center the very next day makes the moment even more special,” Masicka had said when the date was announced in June, according to Caribbean Life. “From Portmore, Jamaica, to one of New York City’s most iconic stages, the performance reflects both the growth of his audience and the increasing global influence of dancehall music,” his publicist Ronnie Tomlinson said.
The set
Masicka made a military-styled entrance in a black-and-white suit — the moment, DancehallMag notes, that spread across social media — and opened with “Whites,” then “They Don’t Know,” “Top Form” and “Drug Lawd,” Kaboom reports. A segment for the women ran “Like Gold,” “Moments,” “Fight For Us,” “Hit & Run” and “Rich Sex”; later came “Stay Strong,” “Suicide Note” and “Leader,” and a change into a blue jacket. From the day-old album he performed only “Spend.”
The guest list stretched across generations and boroughs: Vanessa Bling, Brooklyn rapper Lola Brooke, producer Swizz Beatz, Elephant Man and I-Octane. Tarrus Riley joined him for their collaboration “Corner,” and Grammy winner Keznamdi also appeared. Afterward he was handed New York Knicks merchandise and cut CJ Milan’s customary sold-out cake.
It rounds off what fans had been calling “Sicka Summer”: a Def Jam album on Friday, an arena on Saturday, and a run that began at Sumfest 2022 declaring himself “di baddest artiste inna Jamaica.”
