Masicka has released Forever Reign, his third studio album, on Friday, August 14, 2026, through Def Jam Recordings. The 17-track, 47-minute set — his third album in five years after the independent 438 (2021) and his Def Jam debut Generation of Kings (2023) — features Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Lila Iké, Kraff Gad and Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez, Caribbean Life and Kaboom report.

“Forever Reign means I’m here to stay,” Masicka said. “Yes, there’s room for everyone, but my lane is carved out, and we’re going to soak up the space. The most important thing is to stay humble and focused.”
Who is on it
The album opens with “1 Psalm,” the Damian Marley collaboration he previewed in an Apple Music interview. “One prayer a day, if we can pray and ask God to forgive us for our sins and protect us, then we’re good,” he said of it. Blaqbonez joins on “G Wagon,” Kraff Gad on “Honor Roll” — Masicka’s first record with the young deejay — and Lila Iké on the closer, “Parables.” “His style is different, and he reminds me of myself when I was coming up and hungry,” Masicka said of Kraff. “All of the young youths are bad, and I respect anybody brave enough to embark on this journey. I never had any doubt he was going to shell down this record.”
Production comes from longtime collaborator Mario “Dunw3ll” Dunwell, Dre Skull, Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor, Supa Dups, IzyBeats, Dready, Telz, Razzy, Atto Wallace and others. Two of the year’s biggest dancehall records are folded in: “Boasty” and “Slip & Slide,” the latter on Di Genius’s Hill and Gully rhythm, which passed 10 million YouTube views in three months.

Brooklyn tomorrow
Tomorrow night, August 15, Masicka headlines Reggae Fest at Barclays Center — his first time topping the bill at the Brooklyn arena. “To then celebrate that release by performing at Barclays Center the very next day makes the moment even more special,” he said when the show was announced in June, describing the album as “growth, elevation, and the next chapter of my journey.” His publicist Ronnie Tomlinson puts it this way: “Forever Reign is not simply about reaching a new level. It is about longevity, ownership and remaining grounded while continuing to expand.”
