Cocoa Tea

1982–present

Calvin George Scott (born 3 September 1959), professionally known as **Cocoa Tea**, is a reggae veteran whose smooth, conversational vocal style has made him one of Jamaica's most consistent recording artists.

His debut single *Rocking Dolly* (1983) launched a career that has seen collaborations with Shabba Ranks, Home T, and Cutty Ranks. His work on Channel One, Sly & Robbie's Taxi label, and later with producer Henry "Junjo" Lawes produced some of roots reggae's most enduring recordings.

Songs like **"Rocking Dolly"**, **"I Lost My Sonia"**, and **"Rikers Island"** cement his place in the reggae canon.
