Sean Paul has a new single out: “DIP,” credited with Sommer Ray. Apple Music lists the one-song release as DIP - Single, dated September 30, 2026, under Dutty Rock Productions with an exclusive license to Milk & Honey Records, filed in the Modern Dancehall lane.

From “new chune loading” to DIP OUT

The rollout was lean. On September 25, DancehallMag reported Sean Paul posting with Sommer Ray and the line “new chune loading,” inviting fans to comment for a pre-save link. The magazine noted Ray is better known as a fitness influencer and model with a large social following than as a career recording artist — and that the pairing split commenters between crossover curiosity and skepticism.

By September 28–29 the title was public. DancehallMag carried his #DIP pre-save posts, then on September 30 a short clip and the caption “#DIP OUT 2MORRO!” — the day-before countdown that pointed at an October 1 streaming window. The Apple Music release date stamped on the single is September 30.

Dutty Rock, Milk & Honey

The copyright line on Apple Music is clear: ℗ 2026 Dutty Rock Productions under exclusive license to Milk & Honey Records. That matches the artist’s long-running Dutty Rock banner and puts a distributor name on a drop that, in the early press, had almost no producer, feature list, or cover-art breakdown beyond the social teases.

Riddimsworld also lists the track as a Dutty Rock Productions 2026 single. No Jamaica Observer or Gleaner feature on the release had surfaced in our scan at publish time; the primary facts here are the official store listing and the DancehallMag tease trail.

Why it matters here

Sean Paul has spent more than two decades carrying Kingston dancehall into rooms that rarely host it — from Dutty Rock and “Get Busy” through pop radio peaks and later collab seasons. A new single under his own production house, even one that arrives with a crossover partner and a minimal press kit, is still a catalog event for Jamaican music’s most internationally known dancehall voice of the 2000s.

Sommer Ray does not have an artist page on this site. We will update if an official music video lands on Sean Paul’s channels.
