The music video for the single 'Soul Tek' was shot by in demand videographer, Reynaldo Martin, against the scenic background of rural Westmoreland. The song, written and produced by Evon, was recorded in Bob Marley's legendary Tuff Gong Studio and engineered, mixed and mastered by the notable, Rohan Dwyer. It was released on September 10, 2013 and is available at all major online music distributors and streaming services worldwide. The danceable one-drop groove, with a memorable melody, fuses elements of old school reggae and contemporary R&B, aptly conveying Evon's signature Babyface meets Marley sound. Sheena Gayle of The Gleaner on reviewing Evon's January 2013 Jazz & Blues performance stated, "The crowd quickly caught on to Soul Tek, the song he used to cap his set and signal his course in the music industry."
