Christopher Martin has released the official music video for “Ova Yah Suh.” The upload on christophermartinVEVO carries the title Christopher Martin - Ova Yah Suh (Official Music Video) — oEmbed-verified on the channel — and Reggaeville lists the visual from 2 October 2026. On 6 October, DancehallMag reports, Martin went to Instagram to announce it with the caption “Ova Yah Suh Good” and told fans: “Check out the official visuals on @youtube now if you haven’t already.” The post did not name a director or a wider project.

From August audio to October visual

The audio single “Ova Yah Suh” was released on 14 August 2026, per Reggaeville and Riddims World, which credits production to Scikron Entertainment and YUO101Music. Apple Music lists it as Ova Yah Suh - Single (2026). The gap between the August audio drop and this October visual is a familiar rhythm in Jamaican music — songs building through radio, playlists and word of mouth before the official video arrives to give fans something to share.

DancehallMag notes that the Instagram post does not name a director, producer, featured artist or larger project — so for now the video has to do the talking. That direct-to-fan approach fits how much of reggae and dancehall has always moved: records and visuals building momentum through sharing rather than coordinated marketing pushes.

A busy 2026

“Ova Yah Suh” sits in a productive year for Martin. Reggaeville lists 2026 releases including “Easy” with Agent Sasco (May) and “If You Were Mine” with Jesse Royal (September) — collaborations that underline his place among Jamaica’s most reliable voices in lovers rock and conscious reggae.

Martin came up through the Digicel Rising Stars talent show and built a catalogue of hits — “Take My Wings,” “Cinderella,” “Rasta Love” with Kymani Marley — that pair smooth vocals with roots-minded messaging. A new visual for a single already in circulation keeps that catalogue moving forward without waiting on a full album cycle.
