Tiyarro

Born in Spanish town and raised in Linstead St. Catherine, Donnoy (tiyarro) Drake was from a musical family and his love for music was inevitable. Tiyarrro has always had a knack for writing music but it wasn’t until high school his true talents as a dj / singjay /songwriter and producer started to manifest. Starting out with miniature clashes tiyarro progressed to recording singles, demos and dubs. After switching his priorities to focus solely on his music career tiyarro’s music quickly became popular in Jamaica and parts of Europe. Tiyarro has always been a determine and hard working person, he always puts 110% in everything he does. He strives for his goal keeping in mind his motto which is “hope for the best but prepare for the worst”. Although he has his own distinctive style and melody and possess a very commanding and powerful vocal tone if u ask him tiyarro would tell u that he was influenced by veterans of the business such as sizzla kalonji, Bounty Killa and present time artists such as Aidonia ,Teflon ,Busy signal and hyah slyce. Tiyarro first professional song was recorded by “chronic hill records” titled-“Bun It” on Cash Flow’s (Orange Hill Riddim) it was a collaboration with other members of the chronic hill family such as “Tidal”, “Jr.Daine “ and “melloquence”, this was a hit among his fans. Tiyarro then went on to record his first single titled “Weh Yuh Get It From” on the (Mad Chapter Riddim) this was the beginning of a new era in tiyarro’s career. After becoming part of his family owned and operated lable “inna wi genes records”, tiyarro recorded hits such as “Dem a Pree Mi”,
