Mark Balet

Mark Balet is a Reggae Singer-Songwriter, Record Producer, and Video Director. Although born in Ivory Coast, he was raised in Cairo (Egypt), Maryland, London, Paris and Madrid. In 1996 he made his first step in music being part of a Reggae-Hip Hop duo, performing at reggae sound systems and open mics. Formerly known as Mister Marky, Mark Balet launched his own record label called Eternel Music and released his first EP called Eternel in 2009 (Eternel Music / Sony ATV / EMI Music Publishing). He found his way to the mainstream audience from his first single called Outsider being played on MTV Base, which was eventually followed by a European tour in 2010. Mark Balet has worked with performers such as the british singer Murray head, Specta (Saïan Supa Crew), Dj Poska… Mark Balet is currently recording his debut album called Born to Love, a fusion of reggae Rock and hip hop that will be released early 2014.
