FyaVerse

Fabian Wayne Edwards (born November 16, 1999), known professionally as FyaVerse, is a Jamaican dancehall and reggae fusion artist. His 2023 single "Shatta Gyal", featuring ChevoBeatz, which charted on the Billboard Argentina chart. His subsequent single "Time's Dread" received recognition from the HDP Music Awards, and he was nominated for Best Reggae Act. In 2025, he released his debut album "Rak Di Wrld", a 10-track project incorporating dancehall and Afrobeats.

Biography

Edwards was born in Manchester, Jamaica. He is of Jamaican and Guyanese descent. He studied music at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in Kingston, Jamaica, where he began shaping his musical style. He was raised in a multicultural household, with his mother half Guyanese and Barbadian descent and his father of Jamaican origin. During his early years, he was raised by his great-grandmother, Gretel Myrie, in Jamaica.
