10:20PM EST Jesse Royal enters stage to a roaring welcome from patrons...
10:25PM EST “So long Rastafari call you…” are you listening to the call or are you playing the fool. That line from Count Ossie & The Mystic Revelation of Rastafari So Long will always be heavily potent!
10:30PM EST“What we need right now is people power…say people power” preach it Jesse!
10:35PM ESTHotter the Battle, Greedy Babylon, Modern Day Judas, This Morning…we wonder if the pulsating crowd is truly listening to the lyrics or simply hearing the vibe?
10:45PM EST The small axe himself, Jesse leaves Reggae Sumfest’s stage on a natural high and the patrons are evidently yearning for more…but he has to make way for the Ebony chanteuse Shuga.
10:50PM EST
Shuga enters the stage and someone beside us asked “How Shuga reach International Night status?” Our response…you’ll see why.
10:55PM EST
The crowd is loving the culture vibe oozing from Sumfest stage…which a lot of patrons have commented have been missing from the showcasing in recent years…sing out SHUGA!
11:05PM EST “I am ebony…ebony is strong” sing it Shuga! Beat it in our heads. LOL
11:10PM EST History class has started on stage with Shuga…lol…we’re really enjoying the diversity of this set! A little bit of everything anyone in the crowd can appreciate.
11:15PM EST Shuga exits the stage making way for DownSound Records culture crooner Nature.
11:20PM EST Nature enters the stage and clearly in a militant frame of mind. Last year he graced the stage and performed rather great…let’s see if he maintained that persona.
11:30PM EST Definitely loving the theatrics of Nature’s set - showing patrons that as entertainers they should truly entertain and deliver messages worth listening to! Mad respect going out to Nature right now. *starts singing* “World Peaaaaace…”
11:35PM EST So apparently Nature ripped his crotch…nothing tying your jacket around your waist can’t fix.
11:40PM EST Nature exits the stage making way for Chronixx…time for a band change…
