Busta Rhymes/Nicki Minaj moves poetically with their best Jamaican Patios Image

In what might be the first of its kind, rappers Busta Rhymes and Nicki Minaj have recorded a Hip Hop song entirely done in the Jamaican Patios, entitled 'Twerk It'.

Produced by four-time Grammy Award-winning producer Pharrell, the club banger for the summer serves as Busta Rhymes' lead single for his upcoming 10th studio album rumoured to be E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final World Front.

Directed by Director X and Rhymes himself, the video finds the two emcees in a Dancehall-esque session where blow torches are blazing and the high energy of any Dancehall session can be seen being melted from the video; similar to the single 'Freaks' by American rapper French Montana which also features Minaj.

In recent times, varying International artistes have been found utilizing either the Jamaican patios, vintage samples, jingles, curse words or featured artiste with their songs with the most notable being Kanye West on his Yeezus album and Jay Z on his Magna Carta Holy Grail album.

Both rappers fall from Caribbean origins with Nicki Minaj being born in Trinidad and Busta Rhymes being born in Brooklyn, New York, to Jamaican parents, which helps serve as no surprise as to the reasons behind doing a track like this.
