Ky-Mani Marley is sticking to his roots in the video for his single All The Way. Musically, he's pursuing a classic, roots reggae sound that hearkens back to the legendary recordings of his father, Bob Marley; aesthetically, he heads to the relatively rural, incredibly lush landscapes of Jamaica's Portland region. Nile Saulter, also Jamaican, directed the video."It was lovely to shoot in one of my favorite parts of Jamaica," Marley told Billboard. "I rarely get a chance to head out to Portland, so it was a great opportunity to experience it and shoot such a cinematic video."
The gorgeous setting proves an ideal backdrop for the video's distinctly Jamaican love story, told across beaches, lagoons, and forests of palm trees. Fans can get a taste of Jamaica's culture through the many locals who pop up throughout. Check Marley's OnStage interview with Winford Williams and the official video for All The Way.
