From Kingston to New York to the UK, Tony Matterhorn honed his skills as a selector, first with King Addies, and then, eventually, solo. Actually, Tony 'Mentally Ill' Matterhorn is still hailed as the most memorable and skilled solo selectors to compete in World Cup clashes all over the globe. The name, "Mr. Fully Loaded", comes from Tony Matterhorn's unforgettable performance at Fully Loaded, Fort Clarence Beach in 1998, where he beat out the rest of the competition with the Bruk Out Riddim.
Nowadays, Tony Matterhorn is working hard and mashing up every dancehall with tunes like "Dutty Wine" on the Smash and "Goodas" on the Gully Slime. More recent releases are "Talk Di Tings Dem" on the Beehive and "How We Grow" on Drum Lane featuring another MAD selector, Firelinks. Although his history is rooted in sound systems like King Addies, he does voice dubplates for other sounds. Clash culture is thriving, and although Irish and Chin's World Cup New York is no more, sounds are still going at it all over the globe.
