K.Don was born Kevin Donovan McFarlane on August 15, 1989.

Growing up he started to show his love for music at a very early age listening to artists such as Sanchez, Beres Hammond and Singing Melody mostly played from his father’s cassette player.

His family became aware of his impressive vocal abilities singing those very songs he grew up listening.

In his hometown Mandeville, Manchester he attended the prestigious institutions Decarteret College and Belair High School where he seemed to show a deep interest and passion towards the arts where he excelled.

Music seems to be K.Don’s driving force, deeply motivated by his favorite artist Damian “Junior Gong” Marley in which he describes his lyrics to be very powerful and diverse.

Now 22, K.Don is ready to release his is debut album entitled “Rise&Shine” which shows his true passion and dedication towards the music in which he breathes.

The conscious album speaks his life stories, personal battles as well as the issues faced in today’s society by many. His album is set to be released sometime in December.
