Son of the legendary dancehall artiste Daddy Screw whose real name is Micheal Alexander Johnson, this up coming entertainer has nothing but music and the drive to excel thumping through his veins. A product of the inner city, he's the epitome of garrison and knows the perils and struggles of that lifestyle which is also evident in his music.
During his early years after attending Excelsior High an institution that has produced other national greats such as fast bowler Courtney Walsh amongst others he realized his true calling and decided to pursue the treacherous path in an effort to achieve his life long dream. Influenced greatly by his mother, Chedda who sports a very calm demeanor is very grounded and disciplined. Since the dawning of the new year (2008) Chedda is slowly on the rise and has no intent on slowly down anytime soon.
The young artiste whom many industry insiders considers a legend in the making expect great things in the near future. Some of his musical influences includes his father, Daddy Screw, Bob Marley, the warlord Bounty Killer, the Doctor Beenie Man, the Emperor from Portmore Vybz Kartel, Aidonia and last but by no means least his Grandparents. Chedda's hot new single "My Rifle" on a rhythm of with a similar name is presently scorching the airwaves and is on the verge of hitting the mainstream soon. According yo Chedda "my father, daddy screw was a major influence in my life because he was the one who really taught me everything I needed to know so I was taught the trade from a early age".
