Founder and co-producer Joy Mechanics teams up with the college once again to present a bigger and better experience for locals and visitors alike. "Gungo Walk embraces the young, the not so young, the different, the alternative, the indigenous, the creative and the expressive. This year's festival builds on that foundation of inclusion and expression. Come celebrate our past, sustain the present and encourage our future." - M.S Harris, Joy Mechanics
The festival's signature event Armchair Rebelution, which closes off the day will feature Michael Sean Harris and other heavy hitting head liners. This one day festival (beginning at 10am) will also have art, poetry, dance, film, food, workshops, a healing village(yoga, meditation), kids village and a host of booths with a variety of offerings.
"Poised to earn its calendar slot as one of the must-do cultural events in the city....." - Tallawah Magazine. Sept. 2, 2012
