Not only will patrons enjoy a superb entertainment line up, but they will also be encouraged to play a role in this movement. C.E.O Alex Morrissey has gone to great lengths to ensure that the concert will serve its purpose to enlighten Jamaicans and motivate action towards a mentality and perhaps lifestyle of conservation. The concert seeks to honor the cause of Earth Hour by using "green" products, recyclycling bins, solar energy and utilizing electricity at the very minimum to execute production.
Copycat, the local printery affiliated with the event will be printing 4000 tickets using their Eco-friendly equipment and materials. These tickets will be available to the public at specific locations namely, Edna Manley School of Arts, Exced Community College and Mail Pac. Patrons who seek to enter the venue without a ticket will be asked to contribute $500 which will be donated to Jamaica Environmental Trust.
The concert to be hosted by former Miss Jamaica Terri Karelle Reid and Rootz Underground front man Stephen Newland is slated to begin at 6pm sharp. The promoters are encouraging supporters to be on time. Food and beverages will be on sale at the venue catering also for vegetarians.
