Zj Liquid whose real name is Michael Brissett is considered one of Jamaica's finest radio deejays and an up and coming dancehall artiste.

Brissett grew up in Montego Bay and this is where he got his first exposure to the music industry. He began playing music for parties at Pier One, a popular local nightlife spot. From there he went on to start a job at Radio Waves, now called Hot102FM as a radio deejay.

Bigger things were in store for the deejay and he moved to a more popular radio station, Zip 103FM, where he got the name ZJ Liquid. It was here that he began making songs as well. His first hit song was produced by Don Corleon and was called 'Party Hard'. The deejay later went on to produce other singles such as 'Wifey Walk Out', 'Chant A Psalm', 'Dweet Girl Dweet' and 'Party Mi Say'.
