Vital Blaq was born Victor Vundi in Kenya, Africa on October 16th, 1989. His passion for music was evident at a young age as he began singing at the age of 7. When he was 14, he began writing lyrics and performing his and other artiste's work for his classmates at school. He even wrote songs that were used for performances in his local church.
When he finally grew out of his naturally-shy demeanour, he worked up the courage to go into a studio to try singing on a professional level. He recorded a track called "Fire Anthem" and those who heard it thought it had potential. This gave Vital the encouragement he needed to stick with his writing and work harder. The next year, Vital officially began his music career as he released his debut single "Inna Mi Garage". However, it was with his second release "Ten Outta Ten" that he began to draw international attention and attract a following. The song was produced by DJ Reem of Champion Squad Sound out of Jamaica. Since then, the song has gained fans all over the world and Vital continues to work on his music.
Vital Blaq recently relocated from Kenya, and moved to Portmore, Jamaica, so as to be closer to the producers he so desperately desires to work with.
