Born June 13, 1987, in the small farming community of Glascow, St. Ann, Gareth Wallace the first child of Robert and Hyacinth Wallace, this is where the musical journey of Riko-G began. During his early childhood he started playing the drums at his local church, his talent was evident to all who knew him. By the time he reached junior high school his passion for music had intensified. By now everyone knew him as “Riko-G” with his determined drive and musical ambitions. With the opportunity to represent his school during cultural group events, he was honoured by his teachers, schooling staff and peers alike. After leaving high school in 2004 He managed to produce his first track “Long To see” followed by “First Love” and “Push That Thing” that circulated the surrounding communities. With an evident talent and gifting as a songwriter/ producer Riko-G translates his love for nature and life, always striving for oneness into his music. His aspiration toward music has been influenced by the likes of Beres Hammond, Bob Marley, Capleton, Chronixx and fellow schoolmate Romain Virgo. His music continues to surprise many in the entertainment industry and inspires many youth within his local community and beyond. His consistency and drive keeps him steadily progressing successfully, and as a young and upcoming artist we recommend you WATCH THIS SPACE!!
