Lloyd Lovindeer is a Jamaican dancehall deejay from the 1980s, best known for his song "Wild Gilbert". This song humorously describes the experiences of Jamaica during 1988's Hurricane Gilbert and remains the island's biggest selling single with over 50,000 copies. He started off his career in music as a member of the dancehall band The Fabulous Flames.
