On Friday, the 10th of January 1986, 2:36 p.m., at the Nathall Memorial Hospital, a 7 pound baby boy was introduced to the world, a legend in disguise Ramon Jean-Paul was born to parents Paulette and Clayton Elliott.

Growing up in a close knitted family, Rambo? as family members would call him, was a well fed yet admirable as well as affable, and a willing young man throughout his early years.Ramon attended the St. Richards Primary school, where life for him was quite boring, as he quotes. Never fractious though, Ramon was always sociable out of class and attentive in class. He found the love for poetry in the 5th grade in Primary school. Poetry was easy Ramon would say, it was a means of expressing your thoughts in your own way with rhymes? He also wrote poems in his spare time for his own personal pleasure.

Ramon moved on in his academics, graduating at the age of 11, passing for the school where their motto is the utmost for the highest, formally and still known today as the Calabar High School. Throughout his high school years, Ramon became somewhat of an introvert, withdrawn after his father was cold bloodedly murdered when he was in 1st form. Life suddenly for Rambo was up and down, as his widowed mother moved around to seek a better comfort of living.After moving around from one community to another it was hard for Ramon to have any real friends. At the age of 12 Ramon mother moved the family to the Oakland community, where he spent most of his time going to therapy classes and trying to cope with the situation of his loving and still remembered father, who was brutally murdered at his home.

During the 2 years that Ramon lived in the Oakland’s community, Ramon became a lot more socially active, he played a lot of football and listened keenly to his favorite music artist Busta Rhymes. Ramon knew Busta Rhymes albums like the back of his hands and would idolize him, or as Jamaicans say, rate him? Time passed by and Ramon grew older, he started to understand life and living without a father, his mother decided that it was time to move once more, to seek further comfort in living.At the age of 14, Ramon family moved to the community of Barbican.

Despite his tragic incident, Ramon started to enjoy his childhood more, when he was introduced to the sport Basket Ball by his newly found friends and discovered a love for the sport as well as the name that still sticks today, Kuntry. Kuntry still plays today. Growing up in barbican was quite favorable for Ramon as he quotes. He made a link with a certain friend by the name of Khae Shawn. Ramon and Khae Shawn had a lot in common, they both loved basket ball and Busta Rhymes and they were both Loyal to one another. Khae Shawn in his spare time apart from going to school was a part time rapper for a squad called Madd_happaz Kru. It was then when the link between poetry, Busta Rhymes, and him rapping came into mind. Ramon, Showing interest, and wanting to know about the rap game, persistently asked Khae Shawn how to write and construct his own music.

After learning how to construct his own music, Ramon became versatile, and started putting more work in newly founded talent. Withdrawn after his father’s death, Ramon used music as a means to escape the pain of a lost parent, which helped to develop his passion for all genres of music and the love for writing his own lyrics, to express hidden emotions. Now today Ramon a.k.a. Kuntry a.k.a ILL Gramma is known for his special abilities to switch the flow the style and the genre all in one. ILL Gramma and Khae Shawn are still band members of Out Of Ordah and have now combined forces with Rich Pride and Kruff Ent. Now a force to reckon with Out Of Ordah music Kruff Entertainment and Rich Pride is now ready and fully capable to take the world by storm.....ILL Gramma
