Born in Kingston, Jamaica, dudsymil! grew up in reggae music. From the early days hanging out at his father's studio, "the Record Factory" on Hagley Park Road listening to the likes of Eek-a-mouse, Dennis Brown and Frankie Paul record tracks, dudsymil! knew his destiny was music.
This informal apprenticeship helped develop and hone the art of voicing songs, the nuances of music production and the climate and culture of dancehall music. It was against this background in the music that led to his first ventures on the production side in 2003 where dudsymil! linked up with Stephen "Di Genius" McGregor to create the riddims, MP4 and BAD APPROACH - under his own "SKY FACTORY" label which featured his first professional tracks and also included songs from Turbulence, Spragga Benz, Red Square and Chino among others. These first songs reflected the musical inspiration of respected artistes including Bounty Killer, Spragga Benz, Jay-Z, Puff Daddy and the Notorious BIG.
With these production and early recording experiences behind him, dudsymil! has now set his sights on fulfilling his destiny as a solo artiste. Joining forces with Juno award winning songwriter and producer, Eddie Bullen, dudsymil! has rolled out a series of unique, infectious tracks blending his original hardcore dancehall sound with a mellow R
