With a sweet voice that easily wooed persons around him, it was no surprise when Dreama, born Winston Burgher, shot to fame as a teenager with the hit My Name Is alongside dancehall heavyweight Beenie Man. Three years of training with hotshot producer Dave Kelly and his Madhouse Records only served to teach the youngster all he needed to learn to make him into a crossover success. He has spent the years since his big hit working hard at his craft, and is now ready to make himself heard and to share his dreams with not only Jamaica but, the musical world.
A voice honed to perfection, a mature outlook, and a wealth of experience under his belt Dreama is gearing up to wow the world with four new singles that he believes will lead to his dreams becoming reality.
He said, "I've been doing a lot of work and right now I'm working on getting out a compilation CD consisting of four songs."
The House of Stars-produced 24 Boxes has been getting steady airplay on radio and television, while Pave Di Way on the 'Compassionate' Rhythm from producer Troytan has been making waves as well in Miami and Jamaica. Soon to be released is the soulful New Love. His management team is however yet to decide which of the singers' other songs will be released as the fourth single.
