His later stage name Bling Dawg he has received in Miami by friends after he grew a silver dog collar (Bling Dawg is a slang term for Blinking Dog and means Flashing / Glittering Dog). Since 2001, he only carries the name Bling Dawg .
In Miami Bling Dawg began at different sound systems as deejay . By the Jamaican musicians Dugsy Ranks and Biko Bailey , he met the Jamaican deejay Bounty Killer know. They took along a couple of songs on,. Then Bounty Killer suggested him to move back to Jamaica because dancehall is more popular in . In 1999, he released his first single titled Got It Goin 'On on the label VP Records . In Jamaica, he learned a year later Beenie Man know that just to be a new track Circumstances on the famous Orgasm Riddim worked. Together they recorded the song Facts on the same riddim on that later but not included on the album Riddim was.
Bling Dawg was represented at many well-known reggae and dancehall festivals such as the Festival Sting , Fully Loaded or the Reggae Sumfest . He has many famous songs on riddims toasted or sung, eg on the Martial Arts Riddim , Applause Riddim , Good To Go riddim or the Egyptian Riddim .
