Brother and sister reggae acts Keznamdi and Kelissa have been drafted by Walshy Fire of Major Lazer for his latest music project.

Live for Today, the title of the single, is Walshy Fire's first official reggae release. The song is produced by Walshy Fire and Soundponics, the latter, a Virgin Islands based production outfit with musicians credited for projects done with Snoop Lion, Dead Prez, David Banner among others.

'Live for Today' can be described as a fusion of reggae and pop music elements combining a hard marching drum track, a driving reggae bassline and an ambient blend of guitars and synthesizers to create an arrangement that matches the highly inspired writing of Keznamdi and Kelissa.

This is the latest collaborative effort between reggae artistes and siblings Keznamdi and Kelissa; their last collaborative effort was 'Gideon' which enjoyed massive radio rotation and remains a favorite for their live performances. “It’s always a joy working with my sister, two of us have great musical chemistry and you can hear it on the track so I know people will love this one” said Keznamdi.

Live for Today will be released to radio stations and music blogs worldwide on Tuesday, January 20. A special live presentation of the single will take place at Keznamdi Live onJanuary 24 at Skyline Levels at 9 p.m.
