This song was originally produced by his father, Philip 'Fatis' Burrell in 1994, the same year Ini Kamoze hit No.1 on Billboard with “Here Comes the Hotstepper" (also originally produced by Fatis). Fatis later on remixed the track, releasing it in 1998 and two decades after the original release, his son, Kareem has found an  interesting balance between the roots sound of his father and the more modern EDM sound.
