Cornell Campbell meets Soothsayers on UK Tour Image

Cornell Campbell and Soothsayers will be taking their critically acclaimed album Nothing Can Stop Us (Strut Records) to venues across the UK in February 2014.

Since the release of “Nothing Can Stop Us” in May last year, Soothsayers and Cornell have been touring venues and festivals around Europe, attracting a growing army of supporters along the way. Reviews of the shows have been unanimously positive and audiences ecstatic. Supported by the Arts Council of England and the PRS foundation.
 
Campbell’s iconic falsetto singing style has fostered a prolific recording career, working with legendary Jamaican producers Clement Dodd, Duke Reid, Joe Gibbs, Bunny ‘Striker’ Lee, King Tubby and Winston Niney Observer. He is known for hits such as “Queen of the Minstrels”, “Natty Dread In a Greenwich Farm” and “The Gorgon”. 
Soothsayers have produced six critically acclaimed albums and have firmly established themselves as a unique force in the UK music scene, with their combination of influences that includes Afrobeat and Reggae, their powerful live shows and their outstanding catalogue of recorded output on CD and vinyl.
